Clearly, this page is centered around the Ottawa RedBlacks Canadian Football League franchise.

While the usual information that you would expect to find on a sports team's website will be available, simply listing the roster and coaching staff will not encourage anyone to visit. With that in mind, the site will also...

• Locate articles and news about the RedBlacks from less common sources than the local newspaper
• List historical information about the football in the Ottawa region, dating back to the birth of the Ottawa Rough Riders in 1876.
• Promote the lower levels of football in the area.

Much of this will appear quite randomly, especially at first. I previously operated a website I called the GadePage about the Ottawa Renegades, which morphed into Capital Region Football.  That website focused more on history and amateur football.  Its content was deleted but having retained much of it, I will include it here in some form.
